The Group has three main activities:


1. Investment Management

Pars Fund works in conjunction with other Group companies to develop investment opportunities in Iran.

Our aim is to initiate projects particularly in the financial services, petrochemical and special situations where we provide equity through our affiliated funds and also provide initial management support. From time to time we would also invest in public companies in conjunction with our Investment Banking activities described below.

Pars Fund would in all cases seek to co-invest with qualified Iranian partners and interested foreign investors with experience in particular fields. Either directly or through our associated company FarabTec we would in al cases provide management for portfolio companies.

We would also assist Iranian entities seeking to make strategic investments abroad by calling on our world-wide network of partners.


2. Investment Banking

Pars Fund will assist companies in raising loans as well as equity finance. Through our relationship with financial institutions our goal is to provide a complete package for companies including commodity based , asset and non ECA financing where appropriate.

Our advantage is in providing loan facilities along with equity and management support to suit the needs of local companies.


3. Corporate Advisory

Pars Fund will assist Iranian companies wishing to restructure in a privatized economy .

By finding the right partners domestically and abroad Pars Fund aims to put together consortiums that can provide the necessary equity , loan and management input Iranian companies need to become competitive on a global scale.
